The following are some of the most relevant highlights:<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"4\">Volume of Activity<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\">During 2024, <b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"13\">73 cases<\/b> were administered. Of these, <b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"51\">36 are still ongoing<\/b>, <b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"73\">22 awards<\/b> (<i data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"84\">laudos<\/i>) have been issued, and <b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"114\">37 arbitrations<\/b> reached final settlement\/liquidation.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"6\">Types of Contract Disputes and Subject Matter<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7\">The main disputes submitted to arbitration were:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"8\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8,0,0\">Residential and industrial warehouse leases.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8,1,0\">Construction and collaboration contracts.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8,2,0\">Professional and commercial service agreements.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8,3,0\">Corporate law, which maintains a significant presence consistent with previous years.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"9\">Typology and Language<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10\">The preference for <b data-path-to-node=\"10\" data-index-in-node=\"19\">arbitration at law<\/b> (<i data-path-to-node=\"10\" data-index-in-node=\"39\">arbitraje de derecho<\/i>) over equity arbitration (<i data-path-to-node=\"10\" data-index-in-node=\"86\">arbitraje de equidad<\/i>) is confirmed. However, there has been an increase in <b data-path-to-node=\"10\" data-index-in-node=\"161\">equity arbitration<\/b> (9% of the total, with two cases), breaking last year\u2019s trend where none were recorded. Regarding scope, the percentages of <b data-path-to-node=\"10\" data-index-in-node=\"304\">international arbitration<\/b> versus domestic arbitration remain stable, with a clear predominance of the internal market. The primary language used was <b data-path-to-node=\"10\" data-index-in-node=\"453\">Spanish<\/b>, although the submission of evidence and documents in <b data-path-to-node=\"10\" data-index-in-node=\"515\">English and Russian<\/b> has become normalized.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"11\">Value of Disputes<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"12\">The TAB reaffirms its capacity to handle both large-scale disputes and small-claim proceedings:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"13\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"13,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Maximum amount:<\/b> \u20ac11,490,856.97.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"13,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Minimum amount:<\/b> \u20ac6,300.00.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13,2,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"13,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Distribution:<\/b> The bracket between \u20ac20,001 and \u20ac600,001 represents half of the cases.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13,3,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"13,3,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Trend:<\/b> An increase in cases exceeding \u20ac1,500,000 has been observed compared to the previous year.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"14\">Duration of Proceedings<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"15\">The adjusted average duration for proceedings resulting in an award was <b data-path-to-node=\"15\" data-index-in-node=\"72\">10.7 months<\/b>.<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"16\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"16,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"16,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Ordinary Procedure:<\/b> Duration remains steady, though the time dedicated to pre-arbitral processing has been reduced.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"16,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"16,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Fast-track\/Abbreviated Procedure:<\/b> Averaged <b data-path-to-node=\"16,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"43\">8.3 months<\/b>, a lower figure than in the previous year.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"17\">Execution and Challenging of Awards<\/h3>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"18\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"18,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"18,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Voluntary compliance:<\/b> 75% of awards are executed without judicial intervention.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"18,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"18,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Judicial enforcement:<\/b> Remains at 17%.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"18,2,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"18,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Challenges:<\/b> 8% of awards were challenged before the High Court of Justice (TSJ) of Catalonia.
