During 2025, 73 cases were administered, the same figure as the previous year. Of these, 49 remain ongoing and 24 have been closed. There is a notable increase in the entry of new cases (41 in total), of which 10 were MASD (Alternative Dispute Resolution Methods) cases. Additionally, 2 emergency arbitrations were managed.
Subject Matter of Arbitration

Predominance of Corporate Law: It remains the matter with the highest percentage of arbitration subject matter.

Typology and Language

Arbitration at Law vs. Equity: Although arbitration at law predominates, there was a 4% increase in equity arbitration, due to shareholder agreements in family businesses.

Internationalization: Domestic arbitration remains the majority, but international arbitration grew by 21% compared to the previous year.

Value of Disputes

Extremes: The maximum amount was €7,398,562.81 and the minimum was €2,995.68.

Evolution: Despite a reduction in the maximum individual amount, the total value increased by €4,071,841.64.

Brackets: The bracket between €180,000 and €600,000 accounts for nearly half of the cases. Cases exceeding €1.5 million rose from 5% to 13%.
Duration of Arbitration
The adjusted average duration for proceedings concluded with an award was 10.2 months.

Ordinary Procedure: Both the arbitral phase and the phase before the arbitrator were reduced by one month compared to the previous year.

Fast-track Procedure: An increase was observed in the pre-arbitral and arbitrator phases, partly caused by delays from the parties in paying administration fees.

Awards: The trend toward voluntary compliance continues, albeit with a slight percentage reduction compared to last year. Judicial enforcement and challenges before the High Court of Justice (TSJ) remain stable.
